Walsh Announces $204,000 for Harveys Lake Infrastructure Improvement Project

January 20, 2026

HARRISBURG – Rep. Jamie Walsh (R-Luzerne) today announced more than $204,000 in funding has been awarded to the General Municipal Authority of Harveys Lake under the Small Water and Sewer Program.

The funding will be used to improve reliability of the sanitary sewer system in Harveys Lake Borough. Specifically, it would be used to replace generators and pumps at several pump stations, which will ultimately benefit Harveys Lake Borough directly, and Dallas Borough, Kingston Township, Jackson Township and Lehman Township indirectly.

“Ensuring our sewer infrastructure is safe and reliable is paramount, which is why I advocated for this funding,” said Walsh. “Public health and the health of our environment depend on our ability to ensure these systems are in good working order. This funding will go a long way in helping to provide the needed upgrades for this system.”

PA Small Water and Sewer Program grants assist with the construction, improvement, expansion, or rehabilitation or repair of a water supply system, sanitary sewer system, storm sewer system or flood control projects.
