Walsh Announces Upcoming Events

February 2, 2026

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Jamie Walsh (R-Luzerne) has scheduled various upcoming events for residents throughout the 117th Legislative District.

“I really enjoy hosting outreach events in the district,” said Walsh. “Not only do these events provide services and opportunities for area residents, but they also give me a chance to talk with people in person and learn more about the issues that matter most to them. This input helps me when casting votes in Harrisburg and drafting legislation.”

Upcoming events include:
Java with Jamie - Friday, Feb. 20, from 10-11:30 a.m. at Tom’s Kitchen, 656 State Route 93 in Sugarloaf. This is an informal opportunity for attendees to enjoy coffee and refreshment while Walsh provides an update from Harrisburg and answers questions.

Data Center Town Hall - Monday, Feb. 23, from 6-8 p.m. at the Sugarloaf Township Fire Hall, 95 West County Road in Sugarloaf. State Rep. Walsh will provide information and take questions on data center expansion proposals and their potential benefits and consequences. A panel of four guests will also provide their research on the issue and take questions in their fields of expertise.

PA Hunter/Trapper Education Class - Saturday, April 11, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the PA Game Commission Northeast Regional Office, 3917 Memorial Hwy. in Dallas. Lunch and drinks will be provided. This is a required class for all first-time hunters and trappers age 11 and older.

Romance Scam Prevention - Friday, April 17, at noon at Meadows Manor Community Room, 200 Lake St. in Dallas. Hosted with Rep.
